Jon (Bon's brother) and I decided to join the Sinulog 2008 Photography Contest three days before the grand parade. We joined not really for the contest but for the experience and practice (and the Sinulog ID/Pass that can get you anywhere!). Sus! Wa gyud mi magmahay. Lingaw kaayo. It was truly an amazing experience!

My back was aching and my feet were kinda sore, but I was loving every minute of it. Viva Pit Señor! I'm proud to be a Cebuano!

Below are my entries for the Sinulog Photo Contest. As you can see, most of my pictures are of faces. I don't know, I think I just like taking pictures of faces. :) Good thing the Festival Queen Category was back; otherwise, I wouldn't know which categories I could dump my photos in (thanks for the Sidelights Category too!).

I know these shots aren't exactly the best (I've seen really amazing shots -- Jan Ralph!), but hey, I enjoyed taking these photos! And nothing can take that away from me. ;)

Matay bai, mao gyud wa nako... I only have one picture for the Festival Queen category. Sige lang, we'll have better entries next year!

Love this picture too. This image of the Sto. Niño was left standing in the middle of the road. No one was paying attention to it (a sharp contrast to the Queens!), so I called Jon and pointed to it. That's why I got a good close-up of the image. :)
